Azelaic acid Application Usage:
Azelaic acid has the ability to inhibit or kill anaerobic and aerobic bacteria in the skin.
Most of the azelaic acid is used to produce dioctyl azelate (DOZ) plasticizer. Other uses are as a raw material for fragrances, lubricants, oils, and polyamide resins. It can also be used as a reagent and in organic synthesis.
